Architectural Engineer

We are looking for a talented and creative Architectural Design Engineer to join our team at a leading real estate development company, specializing in residential developments.

The role is focused on taking ownership of the full architectural design process from the initial concept and creative vision through to the final design and presentation.

We are looking for a highly creative architect who can independently develop innovative architectural concepts and translate them into compelling, functional, and market-oriented designs. The successful candidate will play a key role in building our in-house architectural design capabilities and reducing reliance on external design consultants.

The ideal candidate should also be highly proficient in AI-powered design tools and emerging technologies, using Artificial Intelligence as an integral part of the design process to generate ideas, explore concepts, enhance visualizations, and improve design efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and create innovative architectural concepts and design ideas for residential development projects from the initial stage.
• Lead the design process from concept development and schematic design through to the final architectural design.
• Develop creative and commercially viable design solutions aligned with the project's vision, target market, and development objectives.
• Prepare and develop architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and design details.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, architectural visualizations, and renderings.
• Prepare professional design presentations and visual materials for management and key stakeholders.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools and emerging design technologies to generate concepts, explore design alternatives, enhance visual outputs, and improve the overall design workflow.
• Continuously research and apply the latest architectural trends, design approaches, visualization techniques, and AI technologies relevant to residential real estate development.
• Ensure designs comply with the Saudi Building Code, municipal requirements, and applicable architectural regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering, development, and project teams to ensure designs are practical, coordinated, and buildable.
• Coordinate with external consultants when required and review their deliverables to ensure alignment with the company's design vision and project requirements.
• Contribute to developing a distinctive architectural and design identity for the company's residential projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Strong experience in residential architectural design and development projects, preferably within a real estate development environment.
• Proven ability to develop an architectural concept and design from scratch, rather than simply executing or modifying pre-existing designs.
• Strong creative thinking, architectural sense, and visual design skills.
• Advanced proficiency in architectural design, 3D modeling, visualization, and presentation software, including:
• 3ds Max
• Revit
• AutoCAD
• Other relevant architectural design and visualization tools.
• Strong practical knowledge of AI tools and technologies for architectural design, with the ability to integrate AI effectively into the day-to-day design workflow.
• Ability to develop professional concepts, mood boards, 3D models, renderings, and design presentations.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant municipal and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to transform creative concepts into practical, functional, and buildable architectural designs.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate and defend design concepts to management and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the design process from concept development to final output.
