Child Development Consultant (Family Development Specialist)

Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
On behalf of a high‑profile family enterprise, we are seeking a highly experienced Child Development Consultant to support the holistic, non‑academic development of children aged 3–10.
This role is distinct from traditional educational or tutoring positions. The primary focus is on soft skills development
, character building, emotional intelligence, leadership foundations, social competence, and personal growth — with a long‑term objective of nurturing future leaders within a large, multigenerational family enterprise.
The successful candidate will design and implement structured yet play‑based developmental programs tailored to each child, while also working collaboratively with parents and caregivers to ensure consistency in approach and reinforcement of learning in daily life.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Child Development Planning- Develop and implement individualized, developmentally appropriate programs focused on soft skills and personal growth.

- Regularly assess each child’s progress and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Utilize creative, interactive, and experiential learning methods rather than formal classroom‑style instruction.
- Design activities that are enjoyable, engaging, and developmentally enriching.
- Incorporate cultural sensitivity and family values into all programming.
- Work closely with parents to align developmental goals with family expectations and long‑term objectives.
- Engage nannies and caregivers through guidance, coaching, and structured involvement in selected activities.
- Ensure continuity of developmental strategies across home environments and daily routines.
- Maintain detailed records of each child’s developmental milestones, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare periodic progress reports for the family.
- Provide professional recommendations for ongoing developmental support.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
- Respect family privacy, cultural norms, and personal boundaries.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Early Childhood Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with children aged 3–10 in a developmental, mentoring, or coaching capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in non‑academic child development (i.e., outside formal schooling or classroom teaching).
- Strong background in play‑based learning, emotional intelligence, and behavioral development.
- Experience working with high‑profile or private families is preferred but not mandatory

- Fluent in Arabic and English (essential).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with families and caregivers.
- Creative, energetic, and adaptable approach to child engagement.
- High emotional intelligence and patience.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
