Head of Teaching

Overview

Our client is a world leading provider of education services with a roster of major company clients. As part of growth in the Middle East, Parkhouse Bell is recruiting for senior management and leadership positions for new colleges in Saudi Arabia.

As Head of Teaching Staff, reporting to the College Principal, you will have responsibility for the overview of the quality of the delivery of the teaching of the curriculum, ensuring evaluation and driving improvements in performance of teachers and managers. To achieve this you are expected to:

• Provide strategic & tactical leadership and planning of curricular areas across the operation
• Develop and disseminate best practice that enhances the student experience by encouraging retention, progress and achievement
• Assess the quality of teaching, identify weaknesses and act as mentor and adviser to course teams and individuals to extend and improve their pedagogical range and effectiveness
• Identify training needs and design Continual Professional Development (CPD) teaching staff
• Management of the teaching staff training budget

You must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

• You must have education management experience, preferably in a vocational training institution, be practical, demonstrate commercial acumen, and be a motivator of people.
• Degree qualified and further education qualifications necessary.
• You must be a native English speaker.
