Head of Teaching

Our client is a world leading provider of education services with an enviable list of major companies as their clients. As part of the growth strategy in the Middle East, Parkhouse Bell is recruiting several senior management and leadership positions for new colleges in Saudi Arabia.

As Head of Teaching Staff, reporting to the College Principal, you will oversee the quality of teaching delivery and drive improvements in teacher and manager performance. You will have wide‑ranging responsibilities for teaching activities, curriculum development, HR processes, quality improvements, and general administration.

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership and planning of curricular areas across the operation.
• Develop and disseminate best practice to enhance the student experience by encouraging retention, progress, and achievement.
• Assess the quality of teaching, identify weaknesses, and act as mentor and adviser to course teams and individuals to extend and improve their pedagogical range and effectiveness.
• Identify training needs and design Continual Professional Development (CPD) for teaching staff.
• Manage the teaching staff training budget.

• Education management experience, preferably in a vocational training institution; practical, commercially savvy, and a motivator of people.
• Degree qualified and further education qualifications required.
• Native English speaker.
• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
