Batterjee Medical College is seeking a qualified and motivated Faculty Member in Pediatric Nursing to join the Nursing Program
. The role focuses on delivering high-quality academic and clinical education, mentoring nursing students, and supporting research and community engagement in alignment with accreditation and academic standards.
- Deliver Pediatric Nursing lectures, laboratory sessions, clinical teaching, and tutorials
- Supervise students during clinical rotations and practical training
- Facilitate case-based learning, simulation activities, and clinical skills sessions
- Integrate evidence-based nursing practices into teaching
- Utilize LMS (Blackboard) and digital teaching tools effectively
- Prepare and administer assessments and clinical evaluations
- Maintain accurate academic and clinical records
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students
- Support students in developing safe, ethical, and patient-centered nursing practices
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in research, scholarly activities, and academic conferences
- Contribute to continuous improvement and curriculum development within the program
- Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA)
- Participate in quality assurance activities, committees, and program reporting
- Submit course files, reports, and required academic documentation on time
- Participate in community outreach, awareness programs, and healthcare initiatives aligned with the college mission
- PhD in Nursing with specialization in Pediatric Nursing
- Clinical experience in pediatric nursing practice required
- Teaching experience in nursing education is preferred
- Familiarity with simulation-based teaching and modern educational strategies
- Experience with LMS (Blackboard) and digital teaching technologies
- Strong clinical and academic expertise in Pediatric Nursing
- Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- Student-centered and patient-focused approach
- Ability to integrate theory with clinical practice
- Commitment to academic quality and continuous development
