College and Career Counselor i i School Counseling

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one college counseling to students and develop a comprehensive portfolio for each student including a CV
Support students with college applications essays recommendation letters and interview preparation
Guide students in selecting appropriate courses and alternative academic pathways
Organize college fairs workshops and information sessions
Advise students and parents on university selection and admissions requirements
Administer and interpret student assessments e g career interest aptitude personality values and motivation tests
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of college admissions trends and requirements
Support students in selecting and planning AP Advanced Placement coursework
Review and develop students academic and educational plans
Monitor student progress and provide detailed reports on performance and readiness

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Education Counseling or a related field
Master s degree preferred
Previous experience in college counseling or student advising
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with international and local university systems
Fluency in spoken and written English
Experience with College Board programs including AP courses
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
