Library Assistant

Library Assistant - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing and organizing the library's collection. This is an excellent opportunity for Indian nationals who are fluent in English and looking to start their career in a diverse and dynamic environment.

• Assist the librarian in cataloging and classifying books, periodicals, and other materials
• Maintain the library's collection by shelving and organizing books
• Help patrons locate materials and provide basic reference services
• Process new library materials by covering books, labeling, and adding security tags
• Assist with inventory management and conducting periodic stock checks
• Keep the library clean, tidy, and free from obstruction
• Provide support during library events such as book fairs or exhibitions

• Must be an Indian national with a valid passport
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
• High school diploma or equivalent (Library Science degree is preferred)
• No experience required - on-the-job training will be provided
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1400$ per month
