JOB PURPOSE

  • The role is responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to maintenance personnel within the Maintenance & Engineering department. Instructing on various aircraft systems, components, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that all trainees acquire the necessary knowledge and practical skills for their roles.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct classroom and practical instruction on aircraft systems, components, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Deliver training using diverse instructional methods including lectures, simulations, multimedia, and hands‑on workshops.
  • Ensure all training programs are compliant with GACA, FAA, EASA, ICAO, and other applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Support the department in efficient use of training resources and materials, contributing to budget adherence.
  • Provide feedback and support to fellow instructors for curriculum enhancement and instructional development.
  • Assist in updating and improving curriculum materials to reflect current technologies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
  • Support instructional design and delivery through input on technical content and teaching methodology.
  • Monitor and assess trainee performance through exams, practical assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Adjust instructional techniques to address areas of improvement and support trainee development.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Mentor trainees and provide guidance to help them succeed in their learning objectives.
  • Participate in the evaluation and improvement of training programs and instructional practices.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND

COMPETENCIES:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related technical field.
  • GACA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License or equivalent certification.
  • Relevant aircraft type ratings for the airline's fleet are highly preferred.
  • Instructional techniques or adult education certification is a significant advantage.
  • Minimum +5 years of hands‑on experience in aviation maintenance, with at least +2 years in a technical training or instructional.
