School Librarian

The School Librarian will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school library, including acquisition, organization, and circulation of materials. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a school setting and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month and accommodation provided. Visa and ticket expenses will also be covered.

• Develop and maintain the school library collection by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and processing materials
• Organize library materials in a user-friendly manner for students and staff to access
• Assist students and staff with finding appropriate resources for research projects
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into lesson plans
• Manage circulation system for checking out and returning materials
• Maintain accurate records of library inventory and budget
• Plan and oversee library events such as book fairs or author visits

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• At least 2 years of experience working in a school library setting
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and parents effectively
• Knowledge of current trends in children's literature
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
