Librarian; English Speaking

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and information management, as well as excellent communication skills in English.

As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library collection, providing research assistance to students and faculty, and promoting the use of library resources.

• - Organize and maintain the library collection, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials
• - Assist students and faculty with research inquiries and locating relevant resources
• - Develop and implement library programs and activities to promote reading and information literacy
• - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in order to enhance library services
• - Collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy skills into the curriculum
• - Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and processing of new materials for the library
• - Train and supervise student workers or volunteers

• - Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• - Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
• - Proficient in English language (spoken and written)
• - Knowledge of various information databases and electronic resources
• - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• - Excellent customer service skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.
