Mechanical Bim Modeler

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and pumping systems.
• Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
• Prepare and maintain drawings, schematics, and schedules from BIM models for construction and fabrication purposes.
• Conduct clash detection, resolve design conflicts, and update models accordingly.
• Support coordination workshops and interface meetings with engineering, construction, and client teams.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, LOD requirements, and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Assist in constructability reviews and provide technical input during design and pre-construction phases.
• Maintain accurate version control and documentation of models and associated deliverables.

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in mechanical BIM modelling.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, and pumping systems.
• Experience in multi-discipline coordination within infrastructure or large-scale building projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650, BEP, and BIM standards for design and construction.
• Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams under project deadlines.
• GCC project experience is preferred.
