Structural Estimation Engineer

METAL, STAINLESS STEEL AND ALUMINIUM FABRICATION INDUSTRY IN JEDDAH-KSA

URGENT HIRING - PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE STEEL FABRICATION INDUSTRY.

EOS Industry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with expertise in steel fabrication. In this role, you will manage the financial aspects of structural design, manufacturing and installation projects, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budget constraints while prioritising our clients' requirements.

• Cost Estimation:
  Prepare accurate cost estimates for structural design projects, including materials, labour, and overhead expenses
• Procurement:
  Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing materials and subcontractor services, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts to ensure value for money
• Value Engineering:
  Collaborate with the design team to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation without compromising quality or performance.
• Client Engagement:
  Communicate effectively with clients regarding project costs, budgets, and financial matters, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the design process.

  Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to align financial objectives with project goals and timelines.

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related field.
• Minimum 5 experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or project controls within the Metal Fabrication industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in cost-estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to construction contracts and procurement processes.
