Engineering Manager

Overview

The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all engineering activities for residential building projects within a contracting company specialized in the execution of residential developments. The role ensures effective design coordination, approvals, and efficient execution, while acting as the main technical authority and the key link between the design, pre-construction, and site execution phases, supporting project delivery within the required time, cost, and quality standards.

• Lead and manage all engineering and technical aspects of residential projects.
• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
• Manage the preparation, review, and approval of shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Resolve technical issues and design conflicts during pre-construction and construction phases.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and Saudi Building Code.
• Support value engineering initiatives and technical optimization.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and engineering staff.
• Participate in technical meetings and represent the contractor in design coordination sessions.
• Oversee as-built drawings and technical documentation for project handover.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing engineering scope from contractor perspective.
• At least 5 years of experience working in Saudi Arabia with recognized contracting companies.
• Strong experience in residential building projects.
• Proven experience in shop drawings, technical submittals, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-related tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
