QA​/QC Engineer; Electrical

Responsible for ensuring all civil construction works comply with SEC standards, project specifications, and approved quality procedures.

• Implement project Quality Plan and civil ITPs
• Inspect installation of switch-gear, transformers, cables, and auxiliaries
• Coordinate inspections and testing with SEC
• Review electrical method statements and submittals
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities
• Manage electrical NCRs and quality records
• Participate in the clients’ inspection and acceptance
• Check the quality inspection documents provided by clients or third parties are in line with the quality standard and criteria
• Maintain Electrical QA/QC records and dossiers
• Identify, record, and follow up on NCRs and corrective actions
• Participate in internal and external quality audits

Special training, technology use, and language skills:

• PMP Certificate
• AUTOCAD
• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• SEC Electrical standards and procedures

COMPETENCIES:

• Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience in HV substation civil and infrastructure works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with the power sector and having experience in substation is a preference.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Good teamwork sense and active in work.
• High responsibility, sense, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills within the organization and with clients.
• Experience with utility projects and international standards (ASTM, BS, IEC)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
