- Assist in providing a safe and environmentally friendly work place for employees, customers, visitors and society.
- Serve as Emergency Response Coordinator as required.
- Assist operational departments in meeting the EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct formal facility inspections on a regular basis and report findings to Assistant Manager EHS / Senior EHS Specialist.
- Conduct and/or coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis and submit findings to Assistant Manager EHS / Senior EHS Specialist.
- Assist with the EHS management of division contractor.
- Accompany inspectors during inspection of facilities by governmental agencies.
- Attend commissioning of new sites and act as resident project EHS officer.
- Support operations' efforts related to EHS compliance and emergency preparedness and lead annual emergency evacuation drills.
- Job requirements:
- Education
:
High School or College diploma, university degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Safety, in Engineering discipline or Business Administration. - Experience
:
Fresh graduates and experienced professionals may apply for the position. - Good IT skills, particularly in maintaining electronic databases and use of Microsoft Office applications.
