Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately 100 km north of Jeddah. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out and verifying survey works to support construction activities and ensure accurate alignment and positioning of infrastructure works.
Responsibilities- Perform and verify land surveying activities for infrastructure construction works.
- Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference markers on site.
- Verify contractor survey data, layouts, and setting-out works to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
- Conduct surveys for road networks and associated civil infrastructure works.
- Assist in surveying works related to multi-utility infrastructure, including:
- Potable water networks
- Firefighting systems
- Gas distribution networks
- Stormwater drainage systems
- Sanitary sewage systems
- Power distribution networks (MV & LV)
- Street lighting and telecom infrastructure
- Irrigation and landscape works
- Ensure accuracy of levels, alignments, and coordinates during construction activities.
- Review contractor survey reports, drawings, and as-built records.
- Maintain proper documentation of survey data, measurements, and site records.
- Coordinate with Resident Engineers and discipline engineers to ensure accurate execution of works.
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in land surveying for infrastructure construction projects.
- Experience in roadworks and multi-utility infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, and leveling instruments.
- Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate survey records.
