Client Problem Solving & Structured Thinking

• Lead structured problem solving for complex client engineering and automation challenges
• Decompose ambiguous briefs into clear problem statements, options, and decisions
• Apply hypothesis-driven analysis, scenario modelling, and trade‑off evaluation
• Translate complexity into clear decision‑ready recommendations for senior clients

• Develop warehouse and automation solutions from concept through detailed design
• Produce layouts, flow diagrams, capacity models, and automation concepts
• Design solutions that balance performance, scalability, and operational realism
• Ensure designs are aligned to peak behaviour, recovery logic, and future expansion

• Design automation architectures across manual, flexible, and fixed automation systems
• Evaluate automation technologies and system combinations without vendor bias
• Define control‑layer concepts (WMS, WES, WCS) as part of engineered solutions
• Ensure automation designs are buildable, expandable, and integration‑ready

• Lead or support client workshops, design reviews, and solution presentations
• Translate engineered designs into compelling proposal and RFP content
• Act as the senior technical face of Starlinks during solutioning and pursuit phases
• Increase client confidence through clarity, rigour, and credible design outputs

• Analyse demand profiles, SKU behaviour, and peak dynamics to inform design
• Stress‑test assumptions using data benchmarks and engineering logic
• Frame design choices around trade‑offs rather than single‑point optimisation
• Ensure solutions are defensible against operational cost and delivery realities

• Apply sector‑specific behaviours (e‑commerce, retail, aftermarket, MRO, pharma) to solution design
• Adapt layouts, automation, and control strategies to sector growth drivers and constraints
• Avoid generic designs by explicitly calibrating solutions to client operating models

• Contribute to Starlinks design standards, solution templates, and advisory IP
• Review and uplift the quality of engineered outputs across the team
• Mentor consultants and engineers in structured design and automation thinking

• 12‑15+ years in supply chain, warehouse engineering, automation, or intralogistics solution design
• Prior experience with automation OEMs, system integrators, or automation vendors is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated background in engineered solution design, not only advisory or sales
• Experience producing concept and detailed designs for complex logistics operations
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
• GCC experience preferred but not essential
