We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately 100 km north of Jeddah
. The selected candidate will assist the Resident Engineer in supervising electrical infrastructure works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
- Supervise and monitor electrical construction activities on site in accordance with project specifications and approved drawings.
- Assist the Resident Engineer (Electrical) in overseeing electrical infrastructure works.
- Supervise installation of power distribution networks (MV & LV).
- Monitor works related to street lighting systems and associated infrastructure.
- Supervise installation of telecom infrastructure, including ducts, chambers, and related systems.
- Coordinate electrical works with other utilities including road networks, water supply, sewage, stormwater, gas distribution, irrigation, and landscaping works.
- Ensure contractor compliance with approved method statements, drawings, and quality standards.
- Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper installation and construction practices.
- Assist in preparing inspection reports, progress reports, and technical documentation.
- Identify and report technical issues, non-conformances, and delays to the Resident Engineer.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure construction or supervision projects.
- Strong experience in power distribution (MV/LV), street lighting, and telecom infrastructure.
- Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation standards, inspection procedures, and quality control practices.
- Strong coordination, inspection, and reporting skills.
