Process Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven Process Engineer to manage, optimize, and maintain our production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating existing workflows, implementing lean manufacturing methodologies, troubleshooting equipment issues, and designing solutions to reduce waste and improve product quality. The ideal candidate has strong hands on experience in multinational manufacturing environments, a deep understanding of data analysis and simulation tools, and a track record of driving process efficiencies safely.

• Flow Analysis & Layout: Analyze process flows and plan layouts to maximize production efficiency, minimize lead times, and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Lean & Six Sigma Application: Apply Lean manufacturing tools-including Kaizen, Muda elimination, Poka-Yoke, and Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED)-to optimize labor productivity and decrease manufacturing costs.
• Simulation & Modeling: Utilize simulation software (such as Arena Simulation) to create virtual models of production systems to predict and improve operational performance.

• Troubleshooting: Monitor daily operations, conduct field observations, and immediately troubleshoot production line issues to minimize unscheduled machine downtime.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform Root Cause Analysis using methodologies like 5 Why and PDCA cycles to solve issues such as process leakage or component defects.
• Tooling Design: Design and fabricate custom jigs, fixtures, and tools required for new or existing product development to prevent process errors.

• Quality Improvement: Utilize data analysis and statistical methods (such as Six Sigma DMAIC) to stabilize processes, reduce variations, and lower scrap rates.
• SOP Development: Draft, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process controls, and quality standards for all manufacturing stages.
• QMS Compliance: Ensure all production and process structures comply with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental standards (ISO 14001:2015), and Safety regulations (OHSAS 18001:2007).

• TPM Coordination: Partner with maintenance teams to implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and preventive maintenance strategies to track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• ERP/SAP Management: Map process flows to support ERP and SAP system implementations, ensuring digital tracking matches physical plant workflows.
• EHS Initiatives: Execute operations in strict alignment with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines to actively lower safety incident rates.

• Degree: Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. A high academic standing is highly preferred.

• Engineering & Simulation: Proficient with MATLAB, Solid Works, and Arena Simulation software.
• Project & Data Management: Competency in SAP, ERP software, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Minitab, and Power BI.
• Core Competencies: Data analysis, operations monitoring, value stream mapping, and technical report writing.

• Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or Green Belt).
• Training or certification in Project Management, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Occupational Safety and Health.

• 6 years of engineering experience, ideally gained within multinational corporate settings across diverse industries (such as Automotive, Oil & Gas, FMCG, or Coatings).
• Exceptional problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional or international teams.
