Sales Engineer - Aluminum Products

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling the factory's aluminum products and solutions, developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and coordinating with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in aluminum, façade, glazing, curtain wall, or construction industries.
  • Knowledge of aluminum systems, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
  • Experience in project sales and tendering processes.
  • Familiarity with project specifications and tendering procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
  • Promote the factory's aluminum products, including:
    • Aluminum doors and windows
    • Curtain walls
    • Cladding systems
    • Louvers and screens
    • Skylights
    • Architectural aluminum systems
    • Custom aluminum fabrication works
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and project owners.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Coordinate with estimation and engineering departments for accurate costing.
  • Provide technical advice and product recommendations to clients.
  • Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate contract terms.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain communication with clients.
  • Resolve technical and commercial issues during project execution.
  • Assist in variation orders and additional work proposals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for new products and market expansion.
  • Maintain an updated database of customers and projects.

    Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key accounts.
Skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driving license.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in aluminum façade, curtain wall, cladding, doors & windows manufacturing.
  • Existing network with contractors, consultants, developers, and government entities.
  • Experience in the local construction market is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with hospitality, commercial, residential, and government projects.
