Land Surveyor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately 100 km north of Jeddah
. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out and verifying survey works to support construction activities and ensure accurate alignment and positioning of infrastructure works.

• Perform and verify land surveying activities for infrastructure construction works.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference markers on site.
• Verify contractor survey data, layouts, and setting-out works to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
• Conduct surveys for road networks and associated civil infrastructure works.
• Assist in surveying works related to multi-utility infrastructure, including:
  • Potable water networks
  • Firefighting systems
  • Gas distribution networks
  • Stormwater drainage systems
  • Sanitary sewage systems
  • Power distribution networks (MV & LV)
  • Street lighting and telecom infrastructure
  • Irrigation and landscape works
• Ensure accuracy of levels, alignments, and coordinates during construction activities.
• Review contractor survey reports, drawings, and as-built records.
• Maintain proper documentation of survey data, measurements, and site records.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers and discipline engineers to ensure accurate execution of works.

• Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in land surveying for infrastructure construction projects.
• Experience in roadworks and multi-utility infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, and leveling instruments.
• Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate survey records.
