About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Planning Manager with a strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) background to join our team in Jeddah, KSA
. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on large-scale construction projects
, with the ability to lead planning and scheduling functions throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to relocate to other project locations upon successful completion of the assigned project.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and site operations to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Analyze project performance, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present progress reports, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and resource-loaded programs.
- Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and contractual milestones.
- Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the master program.
- Support claims, extension of time (EOT), and delay analysis when required.
- Ensure compliance with project and client planning requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of planning experience
, with significant exposure to MEP works
. - Proven experience working on large-scale projects such as high-rise buildings, airports, hospitals, mixed-use developments, infrastructure, industrial facilities, or mega projects.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, project controls, and planning methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Previous experience working in the GCC region (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, or Kuwait) is a plus!
- Experience on projects with international contractors or major developers.
- PMP, PSP, or equivalent planning/project management certifications are advantageous.
The selected candidate must be willing to relocate to different project locations based on business and project requirements after completion of the initial assignment in Jeddah.
