The Site Electrical Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical site activities related to EPC High Voltage (HV) / Extra High Voltage (EHV) Substation, infrastructure, and energy projects, ensuring that installation, testing, and commissioning works are executed safely, in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

• Familiarizes with project scope of work, general requirements, applicable standards, technical specifications and project milestone schedule.
• Prepares workplan and implementation strategy in line with project schedule and customer requirements for the assigned tasks.
• Supervises day to day electrical construction and installation activities at site.
• Ensures all works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, method statements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinates site activities with subcontractors, supervisors, vendors, and construction teams.
• Ensures work execution as per standards, specifications, procedures and good engineering practices.
• Supervises installation of HV/MV electrical systems including transformers, GIS/AIS switch gear, control and protection panels, cable systems, grounding systems, lighting, and associated electrical equipment.
• Coordinates with members of execution team, supervisors, safety officer and QA/QC engineer.
• Monitors quality and ensures compliance with approved procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Ensures implementation of quality control requirements, procedures and guidelines and takes corrective actions where needed.
• Supports QA/QC activities, including MIRs, RFIs, inspections, and documentation requirements.
• Ensures compliance with project HSE requirements, permit to work systems, and safety procedures.
• Monitors site progress and reports daily/weekly status updates to Site Manager and Project Management team.
• Identifies site issues, delays, or technical conflicts and coordinates timely resolution.
• Assists in the successful handing over and close out of the completed project tasks.
