About the Role

Apply project management and planning tools and techniques to ensure that the project finish date and milestones are successfully achieved.

What you will be doing

Actively highlight any potential delays.
Analyze and approve extension of time and claims.
Communicate with all trades and provide efficient feedback.
Develop presentations and reports.
Ensure that long lead materials are submitted, procured and delivered on time.
Examine the recovery plans.
Initiate and reply to formal letters.
Monitor the site and engineering activities based on the approved construction schedule.
Review and action the construction schedules and recommend areas for improvements.

Required Experience

Minimum of 18 years overall experience in development or construction projects including multi-storey residential buildings having worked with engineering consultancy or construction industry in the Middle East and other locations.

Education

Minimum qualification of degree in an engineering related field. A postgraduate degree of the same and/or registration as member from recognized professional body is an advantage.

Certifications & Memberships

Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Cost Control (e.g., CCP) is highly desirable.
Software skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc), Primavera and Microsoft Projects.
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
Compilation of various project reports as directed by management from time to time.
Client focussed, providing advice and services.
Works well in a team with a collaborative approach.
Detail minded, thorough and systematic in their approach to work.
