Draftsman

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce all required engineering drawings for projects, including structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical drawings.
• Use engineering design tools and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, and other drafting tools to create, update, and revise drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, contractors, and project management teams to ensure effective coordination and project integration.
• Assist in reviewing project materials, equipment, and associated costs when required.
• Prepare periodic reports on work progress, potential issues, and their impact on the project schedule.
• Adhere to applicable local and international engineering standards, codes, and safety requirements while preparing drawings.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical drawing skills and knowledge of engineering drafting principles.
• Proficiency with engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Solid understanding of construction materials, building methods, and engineering concepts, including load, stress, and vibration analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, and project teams.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
• Analytical skills to evaluate technical data and project requirements.
