ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drafting and Design:
Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using computer-aided design (Solid Works) software, adhering to relevant industry standards and project specifications.

Documentation:
Create and maintain project documentation, including bill of materials, technical specifications, and installation instructions.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to understand project requirements, provide technical support, and incorporate design changes as needed.

Coordination:
Coordinate with other departments, such as mechanical and control engineering, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall automation design.

Quality Assurance:
Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards while ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical design and automation systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.

JOB REQUIREMENT &

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum Diploma in Electrical.

Additional courses Design recommended.

Relevant Certifications, registrations and licenses may be required.

Familiarity with Project Design Cycle & any project management tool.

KNOWLEDGE AND

EXPERIENCE:

- Technical Proficiency:
In-depth knowledge of electrical drafting principles, practices, and symbols. Proficiency in using CAD software (Solid Works) for creating electrical drawings are essential.

Electrical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams, including knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.

Automation Systems:
Familiarity with automation systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), motor control systems, and industrial communication protocols.

Attention to Detail:
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in creating electrical drawings and documentation.
Communication:
Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret technical requirements, and convey information clearly.

Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve electrical design issues and troubleshoot problems during V project implementation.

Time Management:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

Teamwork:
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of automation projects.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

- English proficiency in both speaking and writing is required.

Basic Arabic understanding is a bonus.
