Electrical Engineer

Job Title:

Electrical Engineer GM Financial Job Dimensions Degree of supervision

Broad Supervision over design activities and electrical installations

General Authority over daily functional electrical / mechanical design

Provide technical and commercial support related to electrical systems for projects executed by ALJM Fit Out and renovation.

Provide support for power supply matters such as SECO power applications, Backup diesel generators solutions.

Value engineering to achieve the best technical and commercial implementations of the electrical systems.

Assure compliance to electrical safety standards throughout ALJM Fit out and renovation.

• Review concept design criteria of electrical systems (LV & LC installations) to make sure that the local and international standards are met.
• Review Detailed Design Drawings of Electrical systems (LV & LC installations) to verify that all systems are included in the detailed design and the layouts of the same are well coordinated with other disciplines.
• Review BOQ (Bill of quantities) to make sure that it is matching with the detailed design drawings and that all items are described as per specifications.
• Review and approve site (installation) drawings of electrical systems and provide technical comments wherever applicable.

• Approved concept designs

• Electrical Report / Acceptance

The job requires excellent advanced knowledge of electrical design regulations / Standards within KSA.

The job has direct impact over ensuring that designs meet all required electrical standards.

The job holder has direct impact over electrical designs for ALJM Fit out and renovation.

The job holder has the freedom to change electrical design concept drawings based on end users requirements.

The job holder has the freedom to update, review and develop electrical designs to meet required standards.

The job holder has the authority to approve/decline electrical design proposals.

The job holder has a crucial strategic role in ensuring electrical designs and implementation meet all Legal requirements.

The job has a crucial supporting role in ensuring electrical installations are safe and designed / installed to the required Building and electrical standards.

The job holder has a role in ensuring all electrical designs are cost effective and in line with KSA market rates.

Degree in Electrical Engineering

10 years of related experience in the field
