Eram Talent is seeking a skilled Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications- Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Science, Chemistry or higher.
- OHST certification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of OSHA and similar regulations and consensus standards governing industrial hygiene.
- At least 3 years of working experience in Industrial Hygiene in petrochemical, refining, fertilizer or chemical industry.
- Support the Industrial Hygienist with the implementation and execution of the Industrial Hygiene Program.
- Perform industrial hygiene surveys in the workplace (e.g., heat stress monitoring, noise surveys, chemical exposure surveys, lighting surveys, and ergonomic studies).
- Ensure calibration and operability of all industrial hygiene instrumentation and maintain inventory of associated sampling consumables.
- Prepare all industrial hygiene sampling media and ensure dispatch of samples to external analytical facilities.
- Support implementation of Respiratory Protection Program, including operation of breathing air compressor, conduct respirator fit testing and associated record keeping, conduct respirator function testing.
- Support maintenance and calibration of multi-gas detectors.
- Provide day‑to‑day industrial hygiene support for plant personnel and contractors, including participation in PPE assessments, job safety analyses, and workplace hazard assessments.
- Participate in compliance audits and conduct formal audits on the IH program.
- Customer focused and results driven.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with company and contractor personnel at various levels throughout the facility.
- High levels of self‑motivation and self‑confidence.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications.
- Knowledge of using direct-reading instrumentation such as sound level meters, sampling pumps, multi-gas monitors, Lux meters, and photo‑ionisation detectors (PIDs).
- Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative hazard assessments.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
