Company Description Abuljadayel Co. for Contracting & Maintenance LTD is a Saudi national company established in 1974, with its head office in Jeddah and branches in Jeddah, Makkah, Taif, Qassim and Madinah Al Munawarrah. The company specializes in water and wastewater projects, including construction of water and sewage pipeline networks, treatment plants, and pump stations. It also delivers operation and maintenance services for related facilities, supporting reliable infrastructure for communities.

In addition, Abuljadayel executes tunneling projects for water and sewage lines using tunnel boring machines and pipe jacking techniques, offering comprehensive solutions across the project lifecycle.

Role Description the Planning Engineer (مهندس تخطيط) is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. The role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, resource plans, and work programs for wastewater, and tunneling projects. The Planning Engineer monitors progress, analyzes variances, and prepares regular reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support project control and decision-making. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to align schedules with actual site conditions and contractual requirements.

The role also includes identifying risks and constraints, proposing corrective actions, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning and execution processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and advanced certifications in project planning or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) with at least 7 years' experience are required.
• Strong Planning and Production Planning skills to develop realistic schedules, resource plans, and sequencing of construction and maintenance activities.
• Solid Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities to track progress, analyze deviations, manage baselines, and support cost and time optimization.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare clear reports, and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with planning and scheduling software (Primavera P6) and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Background in infrastructure, wastewater, and tunneling projects is highly beneficial.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English;
  Arabic proficiency is required.
