Junior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team  will contribute to the design, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of IoT-enabled devices while working closely with experienced engineers across hardware, firmware, and product design. • Design, prototyping, and testing of electronics hardware and embedded systems for IoT devices.
• Firmware development and validation for microcontrollers and sensors.
• PCB design, soldering, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
• Conduct testing and data collection to ensure device performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware, firmware, and software.
• Maintain inventory tracking for electronic components and assist in ensuring component availability.
• Preventive maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
• Technical documentation, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with embedded systems, microcontroller programming (ARM/AVR), and communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART).
• 2+ years of experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTPs).
• 2+ years of experience with PCB design tools (Eagle, Altium, KiCad).
• Hands-on skills in soldering, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Familiarity with Linux builds (Yocto Project) or embedded Linux development.
• Exposure to cloud IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT Core).
• PLC programming and integration.

Full-time

Daily shuttles between Jeddah and KAUST are available.
