Job description for a telecommunications engineer:

The telecommunications engineer is responsible for preparing and implementing plans for the installation and operation of central and branch telecommunications networks and exchanges, as well as planning and monitoring the implementation of wired and wireless telecommunications networks. Their duties also include preparing preventive maintenance programs, diagnosing faults, and preparing and submitting specialized technical reports to the relevant authorities.

Main duties and tasks:

Preparing and monitoring the implementation of plans for the installation of central and branch telephone exchanges

Initial trial operation and driver setup procedure

Planning and implementation of wired and wireless communication networks

Developing preventive maintenance programs according to manufacturers' recommendations

Diagnosing and addressing faults in exchanges and networks

Developing work methods and procedures and keeping pace with technological advancements

Preparing and storing technical reports and engineering documents in approved databases

Monitoring project progress and presenting results professionally

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or a related field

Practical experience

At least two years of experience in the field of telecommunications or network engineering
