- Study project original contract drawings and documents in coordination with the construction department team
- Check drawings received from contractors sub-contractors and suppliers for coordination purposes and report findings to the line manager
- Prepare requested drawings shop drawings in accordance with the required work schedule as coordinated with department workflow
- Establish drawings for temporary works to facilitate proper site execution as requested
- Produce detailed sketches and collect requested data for department reporting and records
- Set project plot drawings on AutoCAD in coordination with surveyors and establish all subsequent drawings up to project completion including as-built drawings
- Follow up on the program of as-built drawings as per the submission schedule in coordination with the construction department team
- Ensure the agreed system for recording the status of all documents and drawings is maintained with the project document controller
- Update drawings as needed based on department requirements and change notices from the line manager
- Visit the site to coordinate with the execution team supervisors and surveyors taking notes of site conditions for further drawing development
- Coordinate with the construction manager to prepare requested data and photos for department use
- Support the site execution team in coordination with the construction manager
- Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting within the construction industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and familiarity with other design tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Revit or other BIM software
- Experience in commercial or residential construction projects
- Project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and budgets
- Certified AutoCAD Professional or other relevant certifications
