Credit and Risk Manager

Responsible for overseeing the financing process, as well as assessing clients' creditworthiness to approve or reject financing requests.

• Reviewing clients' credit applications.
• Preparing and periodically reviewing credit and risk policies.
• Researching and evaluating clients' creditworthiness.
• Creating credit scoring models to identify potential risks.
• Approving or rejecting financing requests based on credibility, potential revenue, and losses.
• Researching and evaluating clients' creditworthiness and creating credit scoring models to predict risks.
• Monitoring payments and maintaining loan application records.
• Developing and updating credit reporting models, financial analysis systems, and risk measurement systems for companies and individuals.
• Formulating and communicating performance objectives and continuously monitoring progress and alignment towards overall goals.
• Identifying operational and material risks (using gap scanning and other methods) that could affect the company's business continuity and ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
• Developing a business continuity plan and conducting related drills and tests, such as disaster recovery drills.
• Responsible for executing disaster recovery procedures in collaboration with the IT department and users.

• Bachelor Degree on related field.
• Highly observant and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience and ability to develop and implement relevant policies and procedures, including the ability to train staff in compliance.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

• Familiarity with supervisory regulations and systems.
• Experience in administrative supervision and auditing.
• Good understanding of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing methods.

• 5+ years in credit and risk management is preferred.
