Ensure full compliance with tax and zakat regulations by managing filings, monitoring regulatory changes, and providing tax advisory. Support financial reporting, handle audits, and optimize Zakat and tax efficiency to minimize risks and ensure regulatory adherence requirements
Key Accountabilities- Ensure Tax and Zakat Compliance with KSA tax and zakat regulations to avoid penalties and ensure accurate filings.
- Manage Tax and Zakat Filings - Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of zakat and tax returns.
- Monitor Tax Regulations and Updates - Stay updated on changes in tax laws, zakat regulations, and reporting requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Handle Tax Audits and Assist in tax audits, provide necessary documentation, and respond to inquiries from ZATCA.
- Liaise with ZATCA - Act as the main point of contact with ZATCA, ensuring clear communication and resolution of tax-related issues.
- Support Financial Reporting and Tax Provisioning - Calculate and report ZAKAT liabilities.
- Provide Tax Advisory and Risk Management - Offer guidance on tax implications for business transactions and identify potential risks to mitigate compliance issues
- Improve Tax Processes and Efficiency - Identify opportunities to enhance tax compliance procedures, automation, and documentation processes.
- Prepare and submit Zakat, VAT, and WHT tax returns in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
- Review and reconcile tax accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records and statements.
- Monitor and analyze financial transactions for proper tax treatment and compliance.
- Respond to tax authority inquiries and audit requests, providing accurate and timely documentation.
- Prepare tax calculations and reports to support financial planning and budgeting.
- Collaborate with internal departments (finance, legal, and operations) to ensure tax compliance in business processes.
- Maintain tax records and documentation for audit readiness and compliance tracking
- Stay updated on tax law changes and recommend procedural adjustments as needed.
- Support the implementation of tax technology solutions to streamline reporting and compliance processes.
- Bachelor's degree in finance/ Tax or related field, (VAT specialist certificate from SOCPA) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on managing Zakat and portfolio.
