Senior Registrar - Psychiatry

The Senior Registrar - Psychiatry is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive psychiatric care to patients through remote telehealth services and physical clinics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans for patients.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and evidence based treatment planning for patients through secure telehealth platforms and in person care
• Gather patient history, observe patient behavior and mood, and administer appropriate diagnostic tests or questionnaires

• De velop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing and monitoring of psychiatric medications
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, utilizing remote patient monitoring technologies and data analytics
• Collaborate with patients to set treatment goals, select appropriate therapies and medications, and regularly review and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Coordinate and consult with other health care providers, including primary care physicians and psychologists, to ensure seamless and integrated care for patients

• Provide patient education and counseling on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self care strategies
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, medication management, and other mental health interventions using various digital tools and video conferencing technologies and in person
• Engage patients in shared decision making, address their questions and concerns, and empower them to be active participants in their care

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic medical records, including patient notes, treatment plans, and medication prescriptions
• Ensure timely documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in the electronic health record system Mental health awareness and education
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new digital and non digital health initiatives, including the creation of patient education materials, online resources, and telehealth program expansion
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our telehealth and digital care services by providing feedback, conducting research, and implementing evidence based best practices
  Clinical Mentorship and Education
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest advancements in digital mental health technologies and evidence based practices
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure the coordinated delivery of high quality, patient centered psychiatric care
