Technical Supervisor​/Emergency Medicine

• Responsible for the medical oversight of patient care by delegating authority to ensure adherence to accepted standards of EMS medical practice, including credentialing certified and licensed emergency medical technicians, paramedics, advanced paramedics and physicians.
• Establishes, implements, and modifies standards of care, communication standards, and quality improvement protocols. Evaluates provider practices to ensure compliance with these established standards.
• Develops, implements and revises policies and procedures for pre-hospital care, including patient triage, transport, transfer, dispatch, extrication, rescue and training through the system credentialing process.
• Conducts system audits and quality assurance evaluations of programs. Develops and monitors management processes for patient care incidents, complaints, and deviations from established protocols.
• Creates guidelines for reviewing incidents that may adversely impact patients or the EMS system.
• Acts as a liaison with local, regional, and national medical communities to assess and respond to community needs regarding emergency medical services.
• Defines the scope of responsibility for credentialed emergency medical technicians and nurses, providing policies and procedures for medical services at emergency scenes.
• Develops and implements standards for patient transport and non-transport, including criteria for selecting appropriate patient destinations.
• Analyzes employee and business needs to develop short- and long-range strategies, goals, action plans, and budget requirements.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in emergency medicine.

MBBS Degree with Board in emergency medicine, EMS and disaster management is preferable.

Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
