Our Client in Jeddah is seeking a motivated, dynamic, and detail-oriented IT professional to manage and support the school’s IT environment. The role covers IT infrastructure, user support, systems administration, and coordination with external service providers
, ensuring reliable and secure IT services for staff and teachers.
IT Systems & Infrastructure
- Manage and administer Windows environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, DFS, clusters).
- Ensure the availability and performance of storage and backup systems (NAS, replication, backups).
- Configure and maintain network services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
- Manage network equipment including switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and Wi-Fi controllers.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures (antivirus, firewalls, system protections).
- Ensure the smooth daily operation of IT hardware and equipment (computers, tablets, iPads, printers, projectors, and local network).
- Provide technical support to teachers and staff (network access, printing, basic applications).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
, independently or in coordination with external providers. - Perform basic system and device configurations
. - Maintain an inventory of IT equipment (census, allocation, lifecycle tracking).
- Monitor incidents and equipment status, issuing alerts in case of breakdowns.
- Maintain incident logs and tracking tables for equipment and support requests.
- Act as the main point of contact between the school and the external IT maintenance company.
- Follow up on service tickets
, priorities, and resolutions. - Communicate technical information clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Report regularly to management on IT status, incidents, and ongoing projects.
- Proactively suggest improvements, optimizations, and new ideas
. - Participate in the development of IT procedures and best practices.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and tools relevant to the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Experience in an educational environment is an advantage.
- Windows Server administration:
Active Directory, Hyper-V, DFS - Networking fundamentals and equipment management
- Printers, Wi-Fi, and mobile device environments
