As an IT Manager (Healthcare), you will manage end-to-end IT operations across hospital departments, including clinical systems, data security, support services, and infrastructure. You will lead HIS/EMR implementation, manage vendors, ensure systems uptime, and align technology initiatives with healthcare workflows. The role requires strong leadership, healthcare system familiarity, and the ability to maintain compliance with healthcare IT standards while supporting physicians, nursing staff, and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead IT operations, support teams, and hospital system performance.
- Manage HIS/EMR systems, upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee IT infrastructure: servers, networks, storage, backups, virtualization.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies in line with healthcare standards.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative stakeholders for IT needs.
- Manage incident response, problem management, and service continuity.
- Oversee vendor relationships for hardware, software, and healthcare apps.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and digital health requirements.
- Prepare IT reports, improvement plans, and system documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT management experience.
- Mandatory experience working in hospitals or the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of HIS/EMR systems and clinical IT workflows.
- Hands‑on expertise in IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with Saudi healthcare regulations (CBAHI, MOC, NHC).
- Knowledge of PACS/RIS, LIS, and healthcare integration standards (HL7/FHIR).
- ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.
- Experience leading digital transformation in healthcare settings.
