Principal Customer Solutions Manager, Global Financial Services, AWS. AWS is seeking a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to join the Global Financial Services (GFS) team to work with one or more leading FSI customers. As a CSM, you will help customers realize sustained business value by accelerating their customer transformation journey. You will translate customer objectives to actions that realize long-term value through innovation and work with C-level executives and project teams to drive transformations for large enterprises with global operations and complex stakeholder landscapes.
As a trusted customer advocate, you will help large global financial services organizations understand best practices around adopting advanced cloud-based solutions and migrating workloads to the cloud. You will shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within financial services firms. You will establish a deep understanding of your customer's business vision, culture and processes and guide them through the people, process, and technology facets of their cloud transformation journey.
You will serve as the customer's cloud journey coach and voice of the customer within AWS, translating strategic goals into executable plans and delivering successful outcomes on AWS. You should be a leader who can gain stakeholder buy-in, communicate at executive and team levels, and navigate across geographical and organizational boundaries.
Key job responsibilities- Customer Solutions Managers (CSMs) are obsessed with accelerating cloud adoption and driving value from investments in the cloud. They own customers' cloud enablement/adoption readiness, migrations at scale, digital transformations, and value realization.
- Focus on driving customers' people and operating model change; establish an education strategy to upskill technical and non-technical roles across the customer's organization.
- Define the customer's cloud business case and establish a vision/roadmap for their cloud program; act as a customer advocate to drive resolution of blockers and create paths toward value realization.
- Define the customer's cloud migration/digital transformation strategy, including a detailed plan with milestones jointly owned by the Customer, AWS, and Partner teams; mature Cloud Business Office capabilities and accelerate migrations and broader adoption of AWS at scale.
- Establish Cloud Leadership teams and governance structures to govern the partnership and customer adoption of AWS; drive migration velocity and enable customers to operate business applications at scale on AWS.
- Act as cloud change agent to bring structure, programmatic discipline and thought leadership to migration readiness, velocity and digital transformation; balance AWS learnings with tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Ensure customers realize their goals on AWS and unblock obstacles to enable the cloud journey to progress efficiently.
- Measurable outcomes include: cloud enablement capabilities installed to drive people/operating model change; workloads migrated to AWS and new customer solutions built; breadth of AWS services used; effective customer engagement and stakeholder relationships; and an outcome-driven adoption plan with clear progress reporting.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications- 10+ years of experience delivering technology initiatives including 5+ years of customer-facing experience delivering transformations for large enterprises with global operations and multiple stakeholders.
- Cross-functional leadership, collaboration, operations and data-driven problem solving
- Experience with Scrum or SAFe and/or PMP/ PgMP
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- AWS Certification(s) with experience delivering AWS and/or other cloud services to realize business strategy
- Experience working with global financial services customers (Banking, Payments, Capital Markets, Insurance)
- Consultancy experience as a technology delivery lead and trusted advisor to external customers, with executive-level presence and communication skills
- Versed in Software Dev Ops and Cloud Operating Models
- Experience working within a public cloud sales organization
