Senior Solution Architect, Banking Technology
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Start date: Ideally Sunday, 17 May 2026. Latest start date is 31 May 2026.
Duration: 6 months
Client: Foreign bank
Westbourne + Partners is looking for a Senior Solution Architect with strong end‑to‑end banking technology expertise for a foreign banking client in Jeddah.
The client is opening an entity in Saudi Arabia and requires architecture support as part of building its technology and architecture function. The key requirement is a solid, holistic understanding of banking technology.
Key responsibilities- Provide senior solution architecture expertise across the banking technology landscape
- Support the setup of the architecture function for a new banking entity in Saudi Arabia
- Define solution architecture across core banking and surrounding banking platforms
- Work with business, technology, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams
- Support architecture decision making across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security
Review and guide technology choices and implementation approaches - Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with banking requirements
- Support stakeholder discussions and architecture governance activities
- Strong solution architecture experience within banking or financial services
- Solid understanding of banking technology across core banking, channels, payments, integration, data, security, and infrastructure
- Experience working on banking transformation, new entity setup, or major technology implementation programmes
- Ability to operate across business, application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC is preferred
