UX Designer

• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Work collaboratively with other designers, product design and development teams, business analysts, engineers, and project managers.
• Apply strategic thinking to deliver end to end user experience solutions with a focus on articulating design rationale in the context of business and user needs and business goals.
• Create and maintain digital assets such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mock ups using Adobe XD, Sketch, and Figma.
• Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary.
• Convert user journeys into high fidelity designs and create functional prototypes.
• Identify design problems and friction points and devise solutions while considering technical recommendations for front end and back end developments.
• Take a user centered design approach to design and make data driven decisions related to core and new features, and present these decisions to different stakeholders when required.
• Collaborate closely with our product owners and software engineers to design our products and services by wire framing, prototyping and design blueprints.
• End to end user flows aligned to product requirements.
• Low fidelity wireframes for early concept validation.
• High fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms.
• Interactive prototypes for usability testing and stakeholder reviews.
• User journey maps and experience blueprints.
• Reusable UI components following the design system.
• Consistent application of typography, color, spacing, and components.
• Finalised design files ready for development.
• Annotated designs with states, behaviours, and edge cases.
• Participation in design reviews and sprint ceremonies.
• Alignment with Product Owners, Developers, and Business stakeholders.
• Timely incorporation of feedback and iteration of designs.
• Shared design decisions and rationale documentation.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Figma, Locofy).
• Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, creativity, and time management.
• Ability to articulate content into business language and presentation visuals.
• Translate content into visual graphics and embed with business presentations.
• Work collaboratively with all leaders in both technology and business and product teams.
• Ability to apply strategic thinking to deliver end to end user experience solutions with a focus on articulating design rationale in the context of business and user needs and business goals.
• Ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Effective written communication (emails, decks, reports).
