Senior Project Manager

Role Purpose

Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of complex product development life cycles. This role serves as the critical link between Product Management, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders, ensuring that digital products are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standards.

• Strategic Project Governance: Lead the planning and execution of multiple product work streams, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap and departmental strategic goals.
• Agile Transformation: Champion and refine Agile/Scrum methodologies within the department, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to optimize team velocity.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and business units, providing transparent reporting on project health, risks, and milestones.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Manage cross-functional team allocations (Design, Dev, QA) to prevent bottlenecks and ensure optimal utilization of technical talent.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical and operational risks; develop and execute contingency plans to keep delivery on track.
• Product Lifecycle Documentation: Maintain rigorous project documentation, including functional requirement summaries, project charters, and post-launch impact reports.
• Change Management: Manage the intake process for new feature requests and scope changes, assessing their impact on timelines and resource budgets.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate product development workflows to reduce technical debt and improve the time-to-market for new features.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (PMI-ACP) are highly preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in project management, specifically within a software or product development environment.
• Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of the Full Stack development lifecycle (Java, Spring Boot, Angular) and API-led architectures to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
• Tooling Expertise: Mastery of project management software such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Product Familiarity: Experience working alongside Product Managers to translate user stories into executable technical tasks.
• Business Delivery: Proven track record of managing large-scale digital transformation projects or platform launches.
