For one of our clients we're looking for an experienced ETL Developer to design, build and maintain resilient data ingestion pipelines and ETL processes that power enterprise analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement ETL/data ingestion pipelines using SSIS, Informatica BDM or native tooling to meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Create and manage data workflows in orchestration tools (e.g., Control‑M); automate jobs and ensure scalable scheduling.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across systems to enable trusted reporting and analytics.
- Develop and optimize complex T‑SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures and transformation scripts.
- Monitor pipeline and database performance; recommend configuration or infrastructure changes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high‑impact data issues via root‑cause analysis of business and system processes.
- Design logical and physical data models supporting enterprise data architecture.
- Establish and enforce coding, testing, debugging and deployment standards for ETL solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into ETL designs.
- Support and mentor ETL/BI developers; advise on efficient data extraction for reporting and analytics.
- 8–10 years’ experience in ETL development/data engineering with hands‑on SSIS and Informatica BDM.
- Strong expertise in T‑SQL and PL/SQL; proven ability to optimize and tune queries and ETL jobs.
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Control‑M) and data quality frameworks.
- Solid background in solution engineering, data modeling (logical & physical) and operations.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle; exposure to Vertica, No
SQL and semi/unstructured data. - Experience or exposure to Hadoop distributions (Cloudera, MapR, Hortonworks) and big‑data/cloud technologies (Azure, Snowflake, HDFS, Spark) is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services in enterprise‑level implementations (e.g., Cloud Storage, Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Composer, Data Fusion).
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or IBM Cognos is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills; able to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
- Microsoft Certified:
Azure Data Engineer Associate. - Informatica Cloud/BDM Professional.
