IT Operations Manager​/Director

The IT Operations Director is responsible for leading and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, network operations, and operational support functions to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and performance of enterprise IT services.

This role oversees data centers, cloud platforms, enterprise networks, end-user infrastructure, and business continuity operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and cybersecurity requirements. The position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, infrastructure transformation, and service reliability across the organization.

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure and network operations teams across the organization.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure and operations strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the management and performance of:
• Data centers (on-premise and colocation)
• Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, hybrid platforms)
• Servers, storage, virtualization, and backup systems
• End-user computing environments
• Ensure high availability, resilience, scalability, and performance of IT systems and services.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including uptime, incident resolution, and capacity utilization.

• Ensure 24/7 operational support and business continuity across critical systems and infrastructure.
• Align IT operations with ITIL best practices, including:
• Change Management
• Capacity & Availability Management
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives and continuous service improvement programs.
• Drive automation initiatives across monitoring, patch management, provisioning, and infrastructure operations.

• Lead cloud transformation and hybrid infrastructure initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal IT governance standards.
• Coordinate closely with cybersecurity teams on:
• Vulnerability management
• Network security controls
• Security monitoring and incident response
• Oversee disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning and testing activities.
• Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors, telecom providers, and managed service partners.
• Ensure vendor SLA compliance and optimize service delivery performance.
• Collaborate with IT service management, application teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to support operational objectives.
• Provide executive-level reporting on service performance, operational risks, incidents, and infrastructure capacity.

• Develop and manage IT operations budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support long-term IT infrastructure planning and modernization strategies.
• Contribute to enterprise technology roadmaps and operational transformation initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
• Minimum 5+ years in leadership or management roles.
• Strong experience in:
• Data center and cloud infrastructure
• Enterprise networking and security
• IT operations and service management
• Disaster recovery and business continuity
• Infrastructure transformation initiatives

• Strong knowledge of:
• Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
• Enterprise networking (Routing, Switching, Firewalls, SD-WAN)
• Backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam)
• Identity and Access Management
• Infrastructure monitoring and management tools (e.g., Solar Winds, SIEM)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and governance frameworks such as:
• NCA ECC
• ISO 27001
• IT governance best practices
