Incident Response Specialist

• Perform root cause analysis and resolution
• Manage and provide direction to day-to-day security operations
• Identify, assess, and resolve complex issues/problems within own area of responsibility
• Resolve L3 incidents/ requests
• Create internal procedural standards relating to support role as required
• Interface with technical personnel and other teams as required
• Produce and maintain security incident reports
• Provide device performance metrics as necessary
• Respond to security incidents and provide post-incident analysis
• Experience in IR tools & solutions related to detection, investigation and response, analyze security event and provide guidance to team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate technical and strategic level cyber matters to a variety of audiences

• At least 4 years of experience in Security Monitoring and Response
• Microfocus Arc Sight SIEM – Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Experience in IR tools & solutions related to detection, investigation and response
• Implemented multiple SIEM solutions
• Exploit and detection analysis skills, including the ability to analyse logs for useful information and patterns
• Ability to manipulate and present data
• Incident and Problem Management skills
• In-depth knowledge on different security and frameworks
• Familiarity with different security and frameworks
• Candidate must have experience in incident response phases, and knowledge in SOC process and procedure
• Preference would be given to candidates with certifications like GIAC GCIH, GPEN, or similar certificate
