AI & Innovation Lead

We are looking for an AI / Innovation Lead to act as a senior technology expert responsible for identifying, shaping, and driving innovative solutions that address customer needs, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies.

In this role, you will act as a bridge between customer expectations and technological innovation, combining hands‑on technical expertise with customer engagement capabilities. You will explore, prototype, and demonstrate innovative solutions, while contributing to the evolution of validated initiatives into scalable solutions in collaboration with Bangalore‑based teams.

Responsibilities Innovation strategy and customer engagement
  • Engage with customer stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities where innovation and advanced technologies can create value
  • Proactively identify and promote innovative approaches leveraging AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies
  • Challenge and enrich customer requirements by proposing alternative solution approaches when relevant
  • Position innovation as a key enabler of business transformation within the Saudia ecosystem
Solution exploration and prototyping
  • Design, develop, and deliver proof of concepts (PoCs) or prototypes to demonstrate innovative solutions and validate feasibility
  • Select appropriate technologies and tools to rapidly experiment and iterate on solution concepts
  • Demonstrate prototypes to customer stakeholders and gather structured feedback
  • Evaluate scalability, feasibility, and potential impact of innovation initiatives
Innovation adoption and solution evolution
  • Support the transition of validated PoCs into scalable solutions in collaboration with Bangalore teams
  • Ensure initiatives are aligned with customer architecture and strategic direction
  • Contribute to defining implementation approaches during the transition from prototype to delivery
  • Balance innovation ambition with practical applicability and business value
Technology watch and innovation promotion
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and digital innovation
  • Present new solutions and innovations to customers and assess applicability within their context
  • Act as a source of inspiration within the Studio environment
  • Facilitate innovation workshops and ideation sessions with stakeholders
Collaboration and ways of working
  • Work closely with Bangalore‑based technical teams supporting innovation activities
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure alignment with overall solution architecture
  • Maintain clear communication on innovation progress, outcomes, and learnings
  • Promote agile and experimental ways of working across teams
Qualifications
  • Relevant academic background in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in technical roles focused on AI, machine learning, digital solutions, or innovation‑driven development
  • Experience building prototypes or proof of concepts in real‑world environments
  • Ability to translate business needs into innovative and technically feasible solutions
  • Experience working in cross‑functional and international environments
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to prototype
  • Experience in aviation or travel technology domains is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
  • English is required; knowledge of Arabic is considered an advantage
