Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Specify software development requirements to meet strategic, financial, and operational needs of CHAMP Cargo systems clients and support the development team during development.
• Own several customer or system requirements and collaborate with other team members to lead the requirements, specification, and development phases.
• Support other business analysts and development teams.
• Apply technical and product knowledge to analyze requirements and define suitable solutions for application enhancement.
• Fully document functional and technical solutions, obtain customer/stakeholder approval before technical development, and ensure updated system support documentation is produced during implementation.
• Define test cases and provide BA acceptance for developments and fixes completed by the development team.
• Create business process workflows, UI designs, and mock‑ups that mimic actual user interaction with the digital site.
• Provide business and functional support to the technical team during development, and test programs after completion to ensure compliance with the specification.
• Investigate operational problems/incidents/defects, identify causes, and support testing and implementation of corrective actions.
• Build and maintain test libraries to support manual and automated regression testing.

• Knowledge of air cargo business and operational processes.
• Knowledge of industry inter‑system message formats, rules, and applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases and reporting applications.
• Knowledge of common PC software.
• Knowledge of external interfacing systems.
• Systematic approach to problem solving under pressure as part of a small team.
• Knowledge of UX.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration testing of APIs using tools such as Swagger and Postman.
• Knowledge of creating API documentation using YAML specifications.
• Creatively analytical and able to support ideas with research.
• Team player comfortable collaborating with graphic designers, web architects, and clients.
• Knowledge of prototyping and use of wire framing tools.
• Experience with wire framing tools such as InVision, Marvel, Proto.io, Framer, Axure.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile software development, Scrum methodology, and user story creation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Management.
• 4 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with functional analysis and system support.
• Candidate may be required to provide a criminal record certificate not older than 3 months.
