Role
Purpose:
To design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services across multi cloud environments. The Cloud Platform Engineer ensures scalable, secure, and cost efficient operations leveraging GCP and OCI platforms. This role is critical to modernizing Bupa Arabia's infrastructure through automation, observability, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure across GCP and OCI.
Automate provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud SDK; implement CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Jenkins, or Git Hub Actions.
Apply and maintain IAM policies, encryption, and security configurations in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Implement observability tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus) to monitor availability, cost, and performance.
Partner with application, security, and operations teams to enable cloud native architectures and resolve incidents.
Stay current with cloud advancements and recommend new tools and practices to improve infrastructure efficiency.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of networking, VPC design, and cloud architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and cost optimization tools.
- GCP or OCI certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect, OCI Architect Professional) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
