Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator

Join our Tech team! As a leading company in the defense and technology sector, we are looking to strengthen our team in Saudi Arabia with a Systems Maintenance Engineer with solid experience in IT systems administration and maintenance to manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure, ensure high availability, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
What will you do?- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, proactively ensuring the highest levels of availability.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identifying solutions and working with developers to implement fixes.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Execute maintenance duties according to the maintenance plan, following preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Inspect and verify status of assets/spare parts, and execute corrective maintenance, performing repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Submit maintenance checklist reports according to the work order/maintenance plan.
- Troubleshoot by consulting as-built documents, schematics, and other sources as necessary.
- Coordinate with Systems ML1 engineers to solve incidents and analyze root causes.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT-related roles.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and SQL, with experience in Windows and Linux servers.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows‑based applications and monitoring systems.
- Familiar with Active Directory and Domain Controller administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical incidents, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
