We are seeking an experienced Database Supervisor to manage and optimize enterprise database environments while ensuring high availability, security, and performance across mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will oversee database administration activities, lead performance optimization initiatives, and support business continuity through effective backup and recovery strategies.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled database professional with strong Oracle expertise, excellent analytical abilities, and a commitment to maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing database environments.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain enterprise Oracle database environments.
Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity utilization.
Configure and manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN environments.
Perform database installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and overall database performance.
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
Ensure database security, user access management, and compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to support business applications.
Prepare technical documentation, database health reports, and operational recommendations.
Continuously improve database reliability, scalability, and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Database Administration.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration in enterprise environments.
Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and Performance Tuning.
Oracle Database certifications are highly preferred.
